I seek help a lot of help for deep bitterness with my wife’s family and unrelated anger. I confess and want it all to end.
Please pray for Jim. He had surgery on his left ear Thursday. It was a very invasive surgery to clean out his ear, get rid of diseased bone/tissue and close it off to prevent infection for the cochlear implant. Jim is having a lot of pain and the pain meds are helping. Jim deals with chronic pain everyday anyway. He has restrictions of no lifting /pushing/pulling over 10 pounds for 6 weeks. So he can’t lift the little boys. Please pray for his healing and his spirit. Thank you
Please pray for my 93 year old Grandma, Betty Riggs, and our family. She has been in the hospital for a severe infection and not doing well. She is off all medication and treatments and they are keeping her comfortable. She is supposed to be moved to hospice today. Thankfully her kids are able to be with her. Thank you
Please pray for Jim. He has surgery on his left ear on Thursday 7/16. This surgery will be to close off his ear to prevent infection before the cochlear implant is done. Thank you!
Please pray for Jim. He has an appointment tomorrow 7/7 with a surgeon to discuss him getting a cochlear implant.

There was some good news at Ben’s doctor appointment today... his blood counts are finally starting to go up and his liver is recovering on its own! As of now, the plan is to continue to hold off any chemo until he fully recovers and then to cut back on his chemo dosage to prevent this from happening again in the future. He’s feeling great! He was so happy he was able to be home, so they could all celebrate his sister Emma’s birthday as a family. He has been praying every night for the last month that Emma would have an amazing birthday, and he would be there to celebrate it with her. (Last year, he was in the hospital during her bday.) When his counts crashed and his liver showed damage this week, our biggest fear was he would end up in the hospital during Emma’s bday. We were ALL praying he would stay well, and God answered our prayer! Thank you all for your prayers and love. Slowly and surely, he is recovering! ❤️
This week has been full of the unexpected for my cousin Ben. His blood counts have crashed again due to the chemo he is on for maintenance, so he's been in the clinic this week for bloodwork and transfusions. This morning, he woke up with a yellow face and yellow eyes. My aunt called his doctor, and they went back to the clinic for more blood tests. They found out the chemo has created liver damage which caused the jaundice. His doctor said that the liver will heal itself over time. They are going to stop the chemo until he recovers and cut back on his dosage to prevent any more setbacks. Please pray that the doctors will find the perfect, safe dose of chemo and that his liver recovers quickly! Also, please pray for no neutropenic fevers, so we don’t have a hospital stay during these crazy times. Things were caught off guard because they weren’t expecting things like this in maintenance. My aunt says thank you for the prayers and love!
