This week (March 29 - April 4), West Bridge is supporting three homeless families who are getting back on their feet through the Family Promise program. Volunteers from our church are coordinating, preparing and sharing meals with these families who are currently living at a Family Promise facility.

Here are some ways to pray for this ministry this week:

• Thank God that we have the opportunity to care for people during a crisis in their lives. The call to care for these families was met with an abundance of love -- volunteers from West Bridge have committed to cover all meals this week!

• Pray for protection and good health for the staff and guests at Family Promise, and our volunteers.

• Pray that our volunteers would make the most of opportunities to model and speak the love of Christ as they interact with Family Promise staff and guests. Pray that people would be drawn to Christ through this service.

• Pray that the families in this program would find and keep stable jobs, and would be able to move into their own homes soon.

• Pray that God would preserve the relationships of the families who are living at Family Promise: that husbands and wives, parents and kids would emerge from their time of crisis with stronger commitment to one another.
