Backyard Bible Club

COVID-19 has disrupted many things...but through it, God has also provided so many ways we can minister to our friends and neighbors!

This summer is a GREAT opportunity to reach out to your neighbors and friends.  Lots of activities and events have been cancelled and parents and kids are looking for fun things to do.  SO...why not invite some friends and neighbor kids over for a 'mini-VBS' in your own backyard!  This is such a practical way to take West Bridge Church into our neighborhoods. 

We’ve already thought of every excuse NOT to do this!  

I don't have time!  YOU pick a date and time frame that works for you: Monday and Tuesday night; Wednesday and Thursday morning; Friday night campout into Saturday morning...the possibilities are endless.  Choose what works best for your family.  Email and let me know when you plan to do your 2-session Backyard Bible Club.  I’d LOVE to come by and see the kids!

I don't know what to do!  No problem!  We have kits for you to pick up that include everything you need (curriculum, materials, game ideas, snacks, activities, etc.).  All you have to do is pick up your box at the church!  

I can't teach kids a Bible lesson!? Don't worry, we have you covered!  We have high school and college students who would love to come and teach the lesson and help you out so all you have to do is host!

This is way too much work! As we said, everything is prepped for you in your kit.  You just need some time to look at the contents and get organized.  Then shoot out a text to friends and neighbors!  Or have your kids invite their neighbors (send texts, post on FB, make invites, whatever!)  Team up with another family (or 2) to share the load.

If there is an obstacle we missed and you would like to do this, let Lyndsay know what it is and she will figure out a way to help you host a Backyard Bible Club! We are praying for 5 clubs to take place in our community and we're hoping that God blows us away and exceeds this number!

WHEN: Schedule your Backyard Bible Club sometime in the 2-week time frame of July 27th-August 7th.  The kit will include everything you need for 2 sessions.

HOW:
Step 1--Email and let her know you are interested.  

Step 2--Choose your dates!

Step 3--Schedule a day to pick up your kit. 

WHY: WE are the body of Jesus Christ.  Programs at church are wonderful and we will continue to provide those!  But there is also incredible value and impact when you open your home (or backyard) for the teaching of God’s Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
